A. Yes they do. They deal with the sea level of the property.
The 1937 flood level is used for that equation.

A. Absolutely. Their main interest is the protection and
integrity of the shoreline as well as the protection of the land owners adjoining
the lake shoreline.

A. Yes. They are located adjacent to the Lake Barkley Dam
site in Gilbertsville, Kentucky which is between Eddyville and Paducah, Kentucky.

A. No. That is dictated by the subdivision developers.

A. There are strip malls in Eddyville, Cadiz and Princeton,KY. Here are some very large shopping areas close to the lakes area.

2. Paducah, KY.Approx. 35 min. from Eddyville, KY
3. Nashville, TN. Approx. 55 min. from Cadiz, KY.
4. St. Louis, MO. Approx. 3 hrs.from Eddyville, KY.
5. Louisville, KY. Approx. 3 hrs.from Eddyville, KY.
6. Memphis, TN. Approx. 3 hrs. from Cadiz, KY.
These areas represent cultural and entertainment centers of the SouthEastern
US.

Q. Are these lakes good for boating and sight seeing?
A. The best of both. There are several marinas on the lakes
in this immediate area. There are pleasure and commercial boats of all types
and sizes operating on the lakes. You can navigate from here to the Gulf of
Mexico if you want.
